The project aims to reconnect youth with sustainable actions by providing a peaceful and meaningful pathway to be part of the solution through discussions and conversations that stimulate their creativity and critical thinking. The project aims to harness their intrinsic motivation for action, enhance their understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and empower them to infuse these global goals into their local contexts. By fostering their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, the project seeks to transform the youth into informed changemakers who can contribute significantly to the social, economic, and environmental dimensions of sustainability, while enhancing their inclusion into the society in topics that matter to them.

Objectives of the project:
- to develop transversal competences in various sustainability-relevant topics, including green skills and strategies;
- to provide future-oriented innovative educational materials that better meet the needs of young individuals;
- to prepare young people to become true agents of change and build local initiatives and take sustainability actions (e.g. save resources, reduce energy use and waste, compensate carbon footprint emissions, opt for sustainable food and mobility choices, etc

Implementation of the project:

- Mapping good practices that encourage youth to engage in sustainability actions.
- Co-designing a Box of cards on sustainability matters that help to initiate critical discussions on sustainability.

- Conducting training for youth workers on how to use the designed cards.
- Local pilots organised by trained youth workers for young people making practical use of Box of cards.
- Social media campaign to raise public awareness of sustainability.

Results of the project:

By including sustainable practices in non-formal activities youth become more aware of the issues facing our world. They will feel involved and responsible, which leads to a greater sense of purpose and involvement in society. Encouraging and supporting youth-led sustainability initiatives will provide them with leadership opportunities and a platform to voice their concerns and solutions. Also, their learned green skills can help them get a job in the green economy, thereby fostering inclusion.
